WELCOME TO THE DD CAR CARE CLUB INFORMATION PAGE
Dent Doctor Franchise Head Office and Dent Doctor branches are now offering club members real, exiting benefit and real value for money. As a valued member of the DD Car Care Club you will automatically qualify for legal advice and assistance as well as medical advice and assistance. As an added benefit you will qualify for a range range of discounts, services and benefits from our partnered service providers.

Legal Advice and Assistance
Professional, in-house, qualified legal advisors provide advice to the member/policyholder on any legal topic or matter ranging from debt and divorce to labour and domestic violence, 24/7.
The legal service also provides for standard legal documents such as a domestic worker employment contract, maintenance kit, offer to purchase, small claims court kit, Road Accident Fund, etc.
In addition, the legal advisors will also peruse and evaluate agreements.
Matters which require assistance by a practicing attorney will be referred to an attorney on the national database and the member/policyholder qualifies for a first 30 minute consultation, one letter of demand or a telephonic call to the party in question at no cost.
Condition: Additional consultation in excess of the first 30 minutes is arranged between the member/policyholder and the attorney and paid for by the member/policyholder.

Emergency Medical Services
The member/policyholder and his/her immediate dependent family members are in touch with a 24 hour helpline to respond to medical emergencies of any kind. A medical emergency refers to a life threatening episode of illness or injury that requires immediate emergency medical attention. Illness refers to a bodily illness, sickness or disease. Injury refers to an injury caused by accidental (unintentional or unplanned), violent, external and visible means.

Emergency Medical Transport & Response |
Evacuation from the scene of the medical emergency and transportation under medical supervision. Depending on the nature of the medical emergency and various other considerations such as the patient’s state and fitness to travel, distance to be covered and availability of the appropriate means of transport, transportation by a fleet of vehicles e.g. ambulances from the public and private medical services, helicopters, fixed wing aircraft is arranged. The patient is taken to the nearest most appropriate medical facility. |

In-Hospital Medical Monitoring |
In the event of emergency medical treatment and hospitalisation outside the member/policyholder’s town of permanent residence, the helpline monitors the patient’s condition and takes care of messaging to relatives or next of kin on a regular basis until the patient is discharged from the medical facility. |

Compassionate Visits |
Arrangements in terms of compassionate visits are made and cost paid for in the event of emergency medical treatment and hospitalisation which takes place outside the member/policyholder’s town of permanent residence, exceeding five (5) consecutive days. Appropriate arrangements are made at the discretion of the helpline. |

Escorted Return of Minors |
Arrangements in terms of escorted return transport are made and cost paid for in the event of emergency medical treatment and hospitalisation which results in minor children being left stranded. |

Conditions & Exclusions: In all instances, standard protocol would include confirmation of a medical aid/hospital plan if possible. In order to limit future payment complications, patients would be admitted to an appropriate public hospital if no medical aid benefit applies. Cost in terms of services rendered by a service provider such as air or road ambulance is recovered from the member/policyholder’s medical aid and if the member/policyholder does not belong to a medical aid, cost is payable by policy.
Exclusions in terms of the benefits with a R-value limit are intentional, self-inflicted bodily harm, cases relating to psychiatric disorders, attempt to commit an unlawful act, active participation in war or riot and participation in any sports on a professional basis or on national or provincial level.
Terms and Conditions
The territory is limited to the borders of South Africa including Swaziland and Lesotho.
Beneficiaries of the benefits are the member/policyholder which means the person who is listed as the main member/policyholder/beneficiary of the product as well as the member/policyholder’s spouse/life partner and financially dependent children under the age of 21 years living at the member/policyholder’s permanent residence.
Cost payable for incidents not attended to by the 24/7 helpline will not be refunded.
An independent network of service providers with contractual service level agreement in place are dispatched by the helpline. Contractual agreements with these service providers are dependent on strict qualifying criteria and client satisfaction is monitored on a regular basis. As per these agreements, the responsibility for damage, loss or poor workmanship resides with the service provider. The helpdesk will however attend to queries relating to service providers and make every effort to negotiate a satisfactory solution to any service dispute or complaint, provided such complaint is received in writing within 14 days.
